I don’t think i was even a bleep on the radar of the school as a whole, they just dismissed me entirely. It was with good reason, I’m totally forgettable, my application wasn’t unique in any way, and my work was total shit.
To answer your question though, I didn’t get much feedback at all on my application, I did call the admissions department and politely ask what I could improve on… layout and typography, were the answers I got. I guess I was expecting, a red-lined version of my ads, art directed, with a list of all the changes I should make. Don’t get me wrong, I know it’s totally unrealistic to expect honest feedback, but I’m serious about getting in next year, and I would love to connect with anyone whose started with nothing but raw creativity and created defined ads with a clear concept, message, and exceptional typography/graphics.
